Located at Darsait, Muscat City, in the dynamic, progressive and forward looking land of Sultanate of Oman, the Indian School Darsait, a dream come true for many enterprising expatriate men and women with a vision of the future, stormed into existence in 1992. The dual advantage of maintaining the cultural identity and the ability to orient to face the admission process to the professional and courses has made it an instantly sought-after educational centre. ISD, started as part of Indian School Muscat, blossomed as an independent identity in 1994 and moved into the present premises in 1998. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), India and offers English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Multimedia and Web-Technology and Marketing to the Higher Secondary Students.

CBSE-Class 10 Result

Students of Indian School Darsait made their school proud in the AISS Examination 2010 with a hundred percent pass in the examination this year also.

Out of the 131 students who appeared for the last Board Examination for class 10, all came out with flying colours. This time the Board awarded only grades and followed the absolute grading system.

Shahana Arif, Jessly George and Fathima P S topped with CGPA(Cumulative Grade Point Average) 9.8 followed by Nandukishore P, Sushmitha Sudeesh, Deepthy Unnikrishnan, Faizal Hussain, Francis Cilwin and Vishnu P S with CGPA 9.6 and Ann Mary Antony, Sandra George, Panavally Sujeendran Menon, Architha Nair, Suraj Haridas, Thahira A P And Tharique B with CGPA 9.4.

32 students scored A1 in Social Science, 23 in Maths, 22 in Science, 9 in Malayalam, 3 in English and 1 in Hindi. 20% of the students scored a CGPA above 9.

Officiating Principal, Dr Subhash Nair expressed happiness and satisfaction over the result and said, "Students and the teachers have once again made the school proud with their sincere hard work and dedication." He also appreciated the support from the parents which has been vital in achieving this success.
