Synergy 2025-26: Science and Mathematics Exhibition held at ISD

Science and Mathematics Exhibition ‘Synergy 2025-26’ was successfully conducted on
Saturday, 24 January 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Senior School, Indian School
Darsait. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Nishanth P. P., Vice President, School
Management Committee. Mr. Shalimar Moideen, President, SMC and other members of the
school management committee were also present on the occasion.
The science exhibition showcased 60 exhibits, each explaining various scientific principles in
a clear and innovative manner. A total of 150 students actively participated, displaying great
enthusiasm and scientific curiosity besides providing a platform for experiential learning,
problem solving abilities and collaborative skills among students.
The exhibits showcased innovative projects including a CNC Drawing Machine, a low-cost
educational model using Arduino and stepper motors to demonstrate automation and
precision in industrial CNC technology; a Threat Detection System employing inaudible
sound waves with responsive lights and noise alerts to signal movement; a Human Reaction
Time Analyser measuring reflexes; a Smart Home Automation System powered by renewable
energy, integrating sensors and microcontrollers to manage lighting, security, ventilation, and
energy use as a sustainable prototype of intelligent living; and Aquaponics, a soil-free
farming method combining aquaculture and hydroponics, where fish waste nourishes plants
and plants purify water, saving up to 90% more water than traditional farming while
producing both fish and vegetables.
A total of 110 students presented 50 exhibits for mathematics that included working models,
interactive displays, and visual presentations based on fundamental mathematical principles.
The exhibits effectively showcased the versatility of mathematics as a vital tool in science,
technology, and real-world problem solving, leaving visitors inspired by the depth and impact
of the subject.
The exhibition was open to parents who appreciated the students’ efforts and innovative
presentations. Overall, the Science and Mathematics Exhibition was a great success and an
enriching learning experience for everyone involved.
