Students are entrusted with addressing a global issue through study, drafting, and debate to pass an appropriate 'resolution' in a MUN, which is a recreation of an actual United Nations conference. Students participate in discussions and come up with solutions for the agenda they are given by assuming the roles of delegates representing various nations. ISD students attended the Inter-School ISM MUN 2022 - Sharanya Arun Holla (XD), Poorna Sree S (IX C), Prathima Shri (XII B), Keyina Mariam sojan (IX A),Mohammed Rayyan Ul Bari (XII B). It was conducted on 1 st September 2022 and 2 ndSeptember 2022 at their school premises. Sharanya Arun Holla of XD was awarded the High Commendation 2 Certificate for her outstanding performance as a delegate of India to UNSC.
Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir organized the prestigious Inter-School Model UN Assembly, for the eighth consecutive year on the 30th and 31st of October 2022. Five students from Indian School Darsait participated for the same, Sharanya Arun Holla (XD), Siddarth S Shankar (X D), Rabiya Khalid (XI A), Manasvi S Praveen (XI A) and Poorna Sree S (IX C).
ISD won two prizes:Manasvi S Praveen, delegate of Italy won the Best Research Paper Award (UNGA)
Rabiya Khalid, delegate of Djibouti (UNGA) won the Diplomacy Award.
