Empowering Students: Indian School Darsait Launches Career Guidance Cell

 Indian School Darsait took a significant step towards empowering its students with the inauguration of the Career Guidance Cell on March 17, 2024. The inaugural ceremony was graced by the chief guest, Mr. Shalimar Moideen, Vice President and Head of the Academic Subcommittee of the School Management Committee. Mr. Vijay Saravanan Sankaran, President of the School Management Committee, was also present on this occasion. Mr. Amar Srivastava, Principal, delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the event.

Dr. Nita Joseph, Coordinator of the Career Guidance Cell, provided insights into the objectives and initiatives planned by the cell through a comprehensive presentation. Mr. Shalimar Moideen captivated the audience with a compelling 'Career Talk' on Entrepreneurial Skills, shedding light on the challenges, risks, and ethical considerations inherent in entrepreneurship.

The Career Guidance Cell at ISD aims to provide students with resources and support to explore diverse career options and realize their aspirations. In addition to personalized guidance, the Career Guidance Cell will offer a dedicated section on the school's website, providing students with access to valuable resources for exploring universities and colleges worldwide.

Ms. Shamshad Hamza, Vice Principal of ISD, concluded the ceremony by expressing gratitude to all students, staff, and dignitaries for their invaluable contributions to making the event a resounding success.
